Uncontrolled systemic conditions (e.g., diabetes) or heavy smoking may require medical clearance or cessation before implant placement. A free consultation with Dr. Barolia, including CBCT evaluation, will determine candidacy and the need for any augmentation procedures.
Consultation & Planning: Review of medical/dental history, clinical exam, and digital imaging.
Surgical Phase: Local anesthesia (with optional sedation), implant placement, and suturing if required.
Healing (Osseointegration): 3–6 months for bone to fuse with the implant surface.
Prosthetic Phase: Placement of healing abutment, impressions, and delivery of the final crown, bridge, or overdenture.
Procedures are performed under local anesthesia. Nitrous oxide or oral sedation can be arranged for anxious patients. Post-operative discomfort is managed with prescribed analgesics, and most patients resume normal activities within 2–3 days.
